Home Stretch! Hey guys, me again! I hope you're all staying safe during this awful time, staying at home and keeping yourself occupied! As I promised before, my burn is now turned into a continuous peel, so I definitely will not be getting a tan any time soon! My team and I are still ploughing through our major project, making sure the final stages are up to scratch and are as good as the rest of the project. It is so difficult to do group work in this environment, not being able to all meet up to discuss or work on things. However, I would rather we all were safe and got through this pandemic than risk our lives of course! We are coping, it is just harder than we originally planned, but who doesn't love a challenge! I cannot believe we are on the home stretch of submitting our major project! Time does fly hey? Speak soon, Stay safe, Charlotte x

Sunburnt Entry 1 Hey guys! So during lockdown, I have been trying to occupy myself doing various things, doing loads of exercise and making sure I go outside, whether it is to take the dog for a walk or just to sit in the garden. Yesterday it got to 20 degrees where I live! Shocking for England and April I know! But I wasn't going to let lockdown ruin me being outside even if it just was in my garden! Unfortunately it doesn't look like I will be heading on my Dubai holiday this year, which I'm gutted about, as it was a 21st birthday present, but I'd rather be safe and healthy and book it for another time. So, I sat in my garden and pretended it was Dubai (as best I could lol). I was sat in the garden for a couple of hours, thinking it wasn't hot enough for suncream. I was wrong. I am now extremely sunburnt, sat here trying to do major project work, with my skin literally burning. So to all you reading this... ALWAYS wear suncream, no matter how

Lockdown Boredom! Hey guys! So I have been in Lockdown for a week now and it is safe to say I am BORED! Every day makes me feel like I am in the film Groundhog Day, every day is the same thing and the same routine. It is upsetting that I cannot meet up with my group to smash out our Major Project work, I miss them:(. It is a shame as we will not be able to all have any final input to the videos we produce, but I trust my editors to produce something amazing! So, I have tried to come up with different things to keep me occupied during lockdown. I have started a seven day High Intensity Interval Training workout with Joe Wicks, if you haven't seen him on This Morning he is amazing. All his videos are free to stream on Youtube, 20 minutes a day, he kills you! But I have never felt better afterwards! So if you are looking to take up a form of exercise I highly recommend him! No equipment needed, just you and your energy! I have also joined my mum in helping her with

Devastation Hi guys, me again, So, with everything going on at the moment I thought I would update you on what is happening regarding the Coronavirus outbreak. To keep us all as safe as possible, the University has decided to stop face to face teaching and stop the hiring of equipment. We are so lucky that we finished filming when we did, because my heart goes out to people who haven't had the chance to film yet! It also means now there is no face to face teaching, we can't go back to University. This hit me as I always pictured walking out with my course on the final day, handing in our Major Project, being so thankful, but unfortunately that can no longer happen. We also found out our graduation has been postponed until January next year. This honestly broke my heart, as I have been looking forward to that day basically my whole life. It is difficult for me to process what awful things are happening in the world and the consequences it has on our lives.

Major Project Mayhem Hi Guys! Sorry I have been MIA for a while, I've had a lot to sort out! As you know before I mentioned due to the Coronavirus we couldn't access microphones for our final shoot for our major project! Luckily, we managed to buy a microphone and still hire out the rest of the kit! As we couldn't hire out any audio equipment, we created a makeshift boom pole out of a broom and some sellotape haha! But you know what? It actually worked so well! The clients were so grateful we were able to still go ahead with the production day and the content came out amazing! We are determined to do what we can to make our major project the best it can be! I'll talk to you soon Charlotte x

Inconvenient Timing Corona Hi guys, Charlotte again! Obviously we all know about the Coronavirus - Make sure you are all doing what you can to stay safe!! Anyway, due to safety measures the University has put in place, we are unable to book out microphones for any project. This is because there is now evidence that proves respiratory droplets are a key issue to spreading the virus. This is a precaution, as the University wants to do all it can to protect its staff and students. This has caused major disruption to my final major project, as we were meant to film our final client on Tuesday and need microphones to do so. I have called the client to explain, but we are still finding a way to make sure we don't let the client down! I'll keep you updated with what happens Charlotte x
